The Hirebuddy referral system builds on traditional referral programs. Our special incentive system significantly expands the talent pool.

If someone suitable for a particular job comes to mind, send that person your personal referral link. If your referral is hired, you receive your share of the advertised commission.

Even if you do not know anyone directly, you should still share the job link with well-connected friends. If your friends do not know anyone directly either, they may have friends who know a suitable person. This is how referral chains are formed. When a hire is made, everyone in the successful referral chain receives a financial share of the advertised commission.

• 50% of the commission goes to the person who directly referred the candidate who was hired.
• 25% of the commission goes to the person who invited the direct referrer.
• 12.5% of the commission goes to the person who invited that referrer.

This process continues along the entire referral chain, with each person receiving a share based on their position. A referral chain can be any length, and everyone involved is rewarded according to their position in the chain.

Each company sets a total commission for every job listing.

Example:

If a company sets a total commission of €2,000 for a job post, you can earn up to €1,000 (50%) if your direct referral is hired.

If a person referred by your referral is hired, you still receive a financial share. The commission is adjusted according to your position in the referral chain.

If someone applies for a job through a Hirebuddy listing and is hired, the referral is considered successful. We will notify you promptly at the email address you provided. In some cases, there may be a probationary period before the commission is paid. If a probationary period has been agreed with the company, we will let you know after the successful referral. We will then ask you to provide your preferred payment method so that we can transfer the commission to you. You can see the amount of commission you have earned in your Hirebuddy account dashboard. The commission is documented and paid using a fee note. Hirebuddy informs you about the steps required to declare and pay tax on the commission correctly.

You can share your personalized referral link with as many people as you like. There is no limit. It is still worth considering who in your network is well connected in the relevant industry. This increases the likelihood of finding the right candidate.

You can also refer as many different jobs as you like. The more jobs you share with suitable people, the greater your chance of earning higher commissions.

You register and accept our Terms and Conditions and GDPR provisions, as well as the GDPR provisions of the company to which you are applying. In doing so, you consent to us sharing your data with that company and storing it. You can then apply directly through our application process in just a few steps. Your application is forwarded to the company immediately.

Because you are not employed by Hirebuddy, your commission is other income that you are responsible for declaring and paying tax on. The exact process depends on the tax rules in your country.

Our tip: Contact your responsible tax office or seek professional tax advice to make sure you declare your income correctly.

If you are liable for tax in Austria and have made a successful referral through Hirebuddy, you must declare and pay tax on the commission yourself. Because you are not employed by Hirebuddy, the commission is treated as "income from services" ("Einkünfte aus Leistungen") and must be reported in your income tax return through FinanzOnline.

In brief:

1. Log in to FinanzOnline.
2. Switch to business tax assessment ("Betriebsveranlagung") using the "Erklärungswechsel" menu item.
3. Enter your commission under "Other income" ("Sonstige Einkünfte") → "Income from services" ("Einkünfte aus Leistungen").
4. Submit your tax return by June 30 of the following year.
5. You can switch back to employee tax assessment ("Arbeitnehmerveranlagung") the next year.

⚠️ Important: You are responsible for declaring and paying the correct tax. If you are unsure, we recommend seeking professional tax advice.

While you are applying for a job and answering questions, you can change your answers before submitting the application. Before you submit it, make sure all your information is correct and you are satisfied with your answers. Unfortunately, an application cannot be changed after it has been submitted.

Through our partnership with Curawel GmbH, we also offer jobs that let you work independently and flexibly alongside employment, retirement, or your studies. You can apply for a range of Curawel jobs in nursing and care. Once you have completed your registration, you can choose where and when you work. You can, of course, also refer friends and acquaintances.

When you refer someone, part of the commission is credited to your account for each completed shift (one full working day). If you do not know someone directly but a person referred by your referral is hired, both of you share in the hiring commission. Your referral is considered hired once the person has uploaded all required information to the Curawel platform and Curawel has approved the profile.

The commission is distributed among the different professional groups as follows:

DGKP (registered health care and nursing professional)
Total commission: €1,000 net
Number of shifts: 20
You receive €25 net for each shift completed by your direct referral.
You receive €12.50 net for each shift completed by a person referred by your direct referral.

PFA (advanced nursing assistant)
Referrer commission: €800 net
Number of shifts: 15
You receive €26.66 net for each shift completed by your direct referral.
You receive €13.33 net for each shift completed by a person referred by your direct referral.

PA (nursing assistant)
Referrer commission: €600 net
Number of shifts: 10
You receive €30 net for each shift completed by your direct referral.
You receive €15 net for each shift completed by a person referred by your direct referral.

Patient observation shifts (Sitzwachen)
Referrer commission: €5 per 12 hours worked, for a total period of 12 months

You can easily search our job platform for suitable job listings, all of which include a referral commission. If someone in your network is a good fit for a job, click the "Refer this job" button in the listing. A short registration flow makes sure the referral is attributed to you. You will then receive your personal referral link, which you can share with friends through any channel you choose.

Not at all. You can create a personal Hirebuddy link in just a few clicks. Simply click "Refer this job" in the listing, register with your Google account or email address, and your personal referral link will appear.

There are no special requirements for becoming a Hirebuddy. All that matters is that you are well connected and motivated to help your friends with their job search - the commission will almost take care of itself :)

As soon as you refer a job, your Hirebuddy profile is created automatically. Under "My profile," you can view your balance at any time and easily request payment of your earned commission once your balance reaches €50.

We want to make referrals even easier and more rewarding for you. We regularly select interesting job listings and mark them as Jobs of the Week.

With the "Jobs of the Week," you can earn not only the regular commission but also additional commissions through the following promotions:

€5 is credited to your Hirebuddy account simply for sharing your personal referral link for one or more Jobs of the Week with your friends. You can receive this credit up to three times for different job listings that are selected as a Job of the Week at that time.

An additional €30 is credited to your account if an application is generated through your referral link and verified by Hirebuddy. This is available only once per promotion.

An application is considered verified if it is judged to be genuine and seriously intended. Once the application has been verified, you will receive a confirmation email and see the commission directly in your Hirebuddy account.

Important participation note: Each user can take part in these promotions once every 30 days. As usual, earned commission can be paid out once your balance reaches €50.

Your profile settings, jobs you have already referred, and your applications are reviewed to generate job suggestions. Based on this information, we send you suitable new jobs that you can either share with your network or apply for yourself. You can change your preferences in your Hirebuddy account at any time.

A total commission is set for the referral chain. We pay it only after a successful hire and, where applicable, after the candidate has completed the probationary period. The total commission is distributed as follows:

• 50% of the total commission goes to the person who directly referred the candidate who was hired.
• 25% of the total commission goes to the person who invited the direct referrer.
• 12.5% of the total commission goes to the person who invited that referrer.

Each person registers with their email address and creates a personalized link. This link contains a unique ID associated with that email address. This allows us to trace exactly which referral chain each person belongs to and their position within it.

The Hirebuddy referral system offers the greatest benefit to small and medium-sized companies in particular. Our system motivates people outside your company to take part in the search for candidates because they can receive a share of the commission. Referrals are therefore not limited to your employees' networks.

The Hirebuddy system works particularly well in nursing and health care, among other sectors. The Hirebuddy community is currently focused primarily on this field.

Protecting our users' data to the highest possible standard is extremely important to us. We request only the data required for a successful referral and application, and we share it with companies only after explicit consent. All data is stored exclusively on servers in the European Union (EU) to ensure the highest possible level of data security. Our policies comply fully with the GDPR.

After a successful hire, your company transfers the commission for the referral chain to Hirebuddy.

Hirebuddy then handles the secure and prompt payout. We inform the referrers about the successful hire, and they select their preferred payment method.

Referrers can enter their preferred payment method directly in their Hirebuddy user account. This allows the process to be handled quickly and automatically.

The commission is then paid to the referrers using a fee note. Hirebuddy also informs referrers about the applicable tax obligation and the steps they need to take.

Hirebuddy's goal is to fill critical positions in companies cost-effectively and with efficient use of resources. Cost efficiency is therefore extremely important to us.

An initial fee is charged for using the Hirebuddy service. It covers setting up the Hirebuddy tool and publishing job listings on Hirebuddy and our partner portals. The amount of this fee depends on the number of job posts published.

The commission for referrers and Hirebuddy's service fee become payable only after a successful hire and completion of the probationary period, where one has been agreed individually.
